    Canon 50D

I just picked up a new Canon 50D body to add to my camera arsenal. I was waiting to see what the new Canon 5D mkII stats were going to be, and was a bit disappointed when they were announced, at least for my needs. I’ve been using my Canon 5D for over 2 years now, but since I mainly use it for wildlife and underwater photography, I’ve always wanted a higher frame per second rate. The Canon 50D appears to be a better match for my wildlife ambitions at 6.3 fps and 15MP. I’ll be using it in Monterey, CA for the first time next week photographing sea otters. I’ll post some new images as soon as I can.
